Care for Kosovo Kids Foundation

Since 2013, CfKK provides all the medicines for the treatment of patients diagnosed with cancer at the Pediatric Hematology-Oncology ward of the UCCK – the only public hospital where children with cancer from all Kosovo are treated.

Around 50 children are treated annually with the help of CfKK. Through generous support from donations the foundation is committed to saving children’s lives.

Why Care for Kosovo Kids?

Our primary goal is to ensure that children hospitalised in the Pediatric Hematology-Oncology ward of the UCCK receive their anti-cancer and other supporting medication based on the official requests of the doctors. Considering the low average salaries in the country, not all parents can afford the costs of the medicines.

How do we attain our goal?

CfKK seeks to attain this goal by offering small-scale support. Through direct communication and by avoiding time-consuming bureaucratic procedures we aim to ensure that our support ends up directly at the Pediatric Hematology-Oncology department of the University Clinical Center of Kosovo in Pristina. Efficient, affordable and effective.

Care for Kosovo Kids Charity Dinner 2022

The annual Care for Kosovo Kids Charity Dinner 2022 was a huge success! We are beyond happy to share the news that the CfKK Charity Dinner 2022 held on 8th of June 2022 in the Netherlands resulted in an overwhelming sum of € 193,775 !

We are so proud of the large group of generous and loyal supporters of the foundation for this fantastic outcome! We were thrilled and honored that the Dutch ambassador in Kosovo, Carin Lobbezoo, and the Kosovar ambassador in the Netherlands, Dren Doli, joined us this evening.

It goes without saying that all money raised will go to projects, to be defined by Care for Kosovo Kids that help the children with cancer in Kosovo. Here, we also would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to all the volunteers that contributed to make this dinner happen !

Dinner and location were donated by Postillion Hotel Amersfoort Veluwemeer
