Fjolla Kastrati:

“Eternal gratitude for these people’s efforts”

‘At age seventeen I was diagnosed with cancer. This caused great concern for my family: how would they be able to afford treatment? It was then that I was told that my therapy was fully paid for by the Dutch Care for Kosovo Kids Foundation.’

‘Chemotherapy changed a lot. I suffered from loss of hair and felt truly awful. Every treatment involved taking more medicines – 16 different types! – than I had ever taken in my life. I am eternally grateful for the people who made this possible and would like to thank all those who have contributed to my recovery.’
